Build a Little World with AI
Remix an original isometric island: choose an observatory, garden or harbour, change its seed and lighting, and download the scene and build recipe.
Experiment 01 / Imagination you can turn around
Start with a place that does not exist. Give it a purpose, a palette and a few rules. This little world turns those choices into an island you can change, rotate and keep. It is an original browser exhibit made with Astra in Codex, built as a detailed architectural miniature. It does not connect to Minecraft or export a playable game world.
From an image to a working idea
The starting concept was a Curiosity Observatory: blue terraces, a pale dome, gardens, a small workshop and water crossed by a bridge. We asked an image model for an original miniature architectural illustration with a three-quarter view and a quiet background. That image establishes a mood and a composition. It does not contain a functioning world, and we did not extract its geometry.
The working interpretation is a separate program. Astra helped build a three-dimensional scene with curved cobalt terraces, winding stairs, a copper bridge, an open workshop and a ribbed observatory dome. Three.js draws the geometry with lighting and shadows in your browser. The scene is an interpretation of the illustration, with its own architecture and planting. Put the two beside each other and ask what survived: the island silhouette, the blue palette, the building as a focal point and the feeling of a place you could explore.
Change one thing and see what it does
Choose an observatory, a garden or a harbour. Each preset changes the main structure. The seed controls repeatable variation in the shoreline rocks, water ripples and planting; entering the same seed with the same settings produces the same world. Try a short word, then change one letter. The light switch changes the atmosphere without pretending to simulate real sunlight.
Use the build-stage slider to reveal the foundation, paths, architecture, planting and finishing touches. This is a view of the construction rules, not a recording of an AI playing a game. Rotate the scene to look from another corner. If a roof or tree hides something, another view may explain the shape more clearly. Choose Explore view to drag the camera around the miniature. Finish exploring restores normal touch scrolling over the scene. Rotation, zoom and camera reset also have labelled buttons you can reach with a keyboard.
Give your own builder a concrete brief
A useful request names both the creative ambition and the interaction. Ask for a small island with one focal building, three adjustable settings, a reset button and an image export. Describe the colours and the intended mood. Specify that the scene should fit on a phone and that every control must work with a keyboard. These details make a first result possible to review.
Then ask for the world data to be separate from the drawing code. The same structured geometry can describe the terraces, windows, trees and construction layers. That separation makes it easier to check whether the download matches the chosen settings. Ask the assistant to explain one terrace and its stairs before requesting more elaborate architecture. Understanding one small piece gives you a way to judge the larger construction.
A request you can adapt
Build an original three-dimensional browser miniature with an observatory, garden and harbour preset. Use repeatable seeded generation, keyboard-accessible controls, day and blue-hour palettes, camera rotation, zoom and a PNG download. Keep world data separate from rendering. Show me a local preview and explain the geometry. Do not connect to a game or publish anything.
Keep the result and make the next version yours
Download the PNG to keep an image of your current camera view. Download the recipe to retain its seed, settings, selected quarter-turn and a starting brief. The recipe does not record free camera movement; the image preserves that view. These are ordinary files you control. They are not a Minecraft schematic, a three-dimensional model file or a guarantee that another assistant will reproduce this implementation exactly.
For a next version, choose one meaningful addition: a different landmark, a palette suited to a story, or a way to label the buildings. Recheck rotation, reset and downloads after the change. A creative project becomes more satisfying when it remains understandable as it grows. The goal is a small thing that responds to your choices and feels worth keeping, with enough explanation to let you continue it.

Is this a live AI demo?
No. Astra in Codex helped create these original browser programs. Their controls run locally with authored rules; they do not call a model.
Can I keep what I make?
Yes. Download the current output, or explicitly save a world to your local creations shelf with its settings and camera view. The notebook lets you reopen worlds and export or import a library backup. Unsaved experiments last only while the page is open.
